    Blair String Quartet
    Music of Haydn, Bartok and Schubert

    Widely acclaimed in performances across the country, the
    Blair String Quartet has enhanced its national reputation through appearances at the Library of Congress, the Kennedy Center, New York’s 92nd Street Y
     and Merkin Concert Hall. The quartet has appeared on concert series in Atlanta, Boston, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Memphis, Phoenix, and numerous other cities. Some of their residencies have been at the Aspen Music Festival, the Sedona Chamber Music Festival, the first Irving S. Gilmore International Keyboard Festival, as well as appearing at theColorado Music Festival, the Meadowmount School of Music, the Sewanee Music Festival, Music Mountain in Connecticut and the Maverick Concert Series in Woodstock, New York. Recently, they were the quartet-in-Residence for the Classical Fellowship Awards competition of the American Pianists Association held in Indianapolis.

    Kairos: A Consort of Singers with the Newburgh Chamber Music Ensemble
    Choral and Chamber Music of J. S. Bach



    Kairos: A Consort of Singers is a select vocal ensemble dedicated to the performance of unaccompanied choral literature from the Medieval to the present.  The group is Artist-in-Residence at  Holy Cross Monastery in West Park, NY and performs throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond. Kairos also presents the Bach Cantata Series, with performances of the church cantatas of J. S. Bach at various times throughout the year at Holy Cross Monastery. Now in its fifth year, the series has elicited an enormously enthusiastic response by the public and has received wide critical acclaim. In 2009, Kairos celebrated its 15th anniversary as the premiere vocal ensemble of the Hudson Valley.

    The Radiance Woodwind Quintet was founded in 2006 and is dedicated to performing the woodwind repertoire with perfection and a little “sass”.  This stand-out group has performed in recital to many audiences in the New England area since its inception.  In addition to collaborating with pianist Simon Holt,  they have been guest artists on the recital series Sundays in the Parlor at Park directed by pianists Gary Chapman and Laura Hibbard.  Radiance has also appeared in concert for the United States Coast Guard Band recital series, and as guest artists at the University of Rhode Island.  Their official debut concert was held on June 6, 2008 in Norwich, CT.

    From Vivaldi to Piazzola

      

    Maria Zemantauski is one of the world’s few heralded female flamenco-style guitarists, and one of even fewer female flamenco composers. She has performed in Spain, Italy and across the continental United States to great acclaim. Her albums, Mrs. Laughinghouse (1997), Seeing Red (2000) and Under the Lemon Tree (2005), have received stellar reviews from music critics around the world.
