The
ensemble performing today includes friends and colleagues of Philip
West, including principal players and musicans of the Hudson Valley
Philharmonic. Mary Jane Corry, Susan Seligman, Philip West and
Carole Cowan performed together as the Hudson Consort throughout the
region and on several Newburgh Chamber Music concerts. Alvin
Brehm, bassist, composer and longtime friend, wrote "Phil-Carole", a
violin/oboe duet, which was premiered in the May 2004 Newburgh Chamber
Music concert. |
